Deborah contributed to a panel discussion on ‘Director Choices in a Challenging Environment’ for The Deal’s November 2020 corporate governance conference. The panel discussed diversity and the role of shareholder engagement and activism. Citywire podcast: ‘We can’t afford to wait 200 years’
Citywire launched their 5th annual report into female representation in asset management. Depressingly, it will take 200 years for gender parity amongst portfolio managers at the current glacial pace of change, with only 11% currently being female. Deborah was invited to discuss the findings of the report and some of the solutions with the report author, Citywire’s Dr Nisha Long as part of the Why inclusion? podcast series curated by Citywire’s Victoria Barbin Perron.
